Participate
Join us in exploring how cooperation develops from infancy to childhood. Whether you're a family interested in participating in a study, a student looking for research opportunities, or a researcher seeking collaboration, there are many ways to get involved with the Cooperation and Social Development Lab.
For Families
We invite families to take part in our research on child development and cooperation. Our studies are designed to be engaging and interactive, involving fun games, video-based activities, or tablet-based tasks. Research sessions take place in our child-friendly lab at St. Francis Xavier University or online, allowing families to participate from home.
If you're interested in enrolling your child, visit our sign-up form or contact us to learn more.

For Students
We offer research opportunities for Honours students, undergraduate research assistants, and summer research assistants. Students working with the lab gain hands-on experience in developmental psychology, learning research methods, data collection, and analysis.
If you’re interested in applying for a position, reach out to Dr. John Corbit to discuss available opportunities.
